Half-fold your iPhone Duo and it becomes the Aurora Super 7, a seven-tube world-band receiver. The upper half is the glowing glass dial with a red needle and a green magic-eye tuning indicator. The lower half is the cabinet: a big chrome tuning knob, a volume knob, band keys and memory presets.
TUNE BY HAND
Turn the knob and the needle glides across the dial. Between stations you hear static and the whistle of the airwaves, then the station fades in and the magic eye closes. Let go near a station and it pulls in.
SEVEN BANDS
LOCAL, WORLD, JAZZ, NEWS, ROCK, CLASSIC and LO-FI, each a fresh set of live stations. Turn the country switch to narrow it down.
REAL STATIONS, LIVE
Stations come from the free radio-browser.info community directory. Now-playing titles show on the glowing display when the station sends them.
